How do you keep your shelf looking good for longer?

If you've bought or received a beautiful wooden board, you'll want to enjoy it for as long as possible. However, wood is a natural product and is therefore subject to change. Cracks can develop over time. Wood should never go in the dishwasher. After each use, it's best to clean your board with a soft brush, lukewarm water, and soap, and then dry it with a dry cloth. Afterward, let the board air dry vertically, with the wood grain upright. To maintain its beautiful color and shine, the wood should be regularly treated with maintenance oil.

Use

The Pure Wood Oil is easy to use. Take a clean, dry cloth and apply the oil to the wood with the grain. For best results, apply this oil while still slightly warm to the wood. Let it soak in for at least 20 minutes. Polish the wood to achieve a beautiful sheen. For new cutting surfaces on butcher blocks, apply 3-4 coats. Please note that the color of the wood may darken when using Pure Wood Oil. To prevent potential staining, allow the wood to dry thoroughly before placing it on a surface.
